India's commitment for Palestine reiterated in the UNSC
Its role in fostering stability in the restive region highlighted

NATIONAL, October 31, 2024: India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Parvathaneni Harish, has expressed India's commitment to increasing support for Palestine during a UN Security Council debate in New York.
India's current development assistance for Palestine is 120 million US dollars, including 37 million US dollars for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), he stated in his speech. Harish also condemned the recent terror attacks in Israel and called for an immediate ceasefire and the release of all hostages.
He urged the global community to unite for peace and highlighted India's role in fostering stability in the restive region.
