Indian Army commissions 207 cadets including 23 women

NATIONAL, September 06, 2025: The Indian Army has commissioned 207 cadets including 23 women as officers at the Officers Training Academy in Gaya in Bihar. The passing out parade showcased the officers' impressive combating skills.
Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta reviewed the parade and addressed the cadets. A Gaurav Medal felicitation ceremony was held recognising parents who dedicated their children to the nation's service.
The number of women cadets commissioned has increased to 23 this year from previous 18.
