India says committed to firming bilateral ties with Kuwait

GLOBAL, December 04, 2024: India's External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar met with Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya in New Delhi Thursday. He expressed India's commitment to firming bilateral ties with Kuwait in trade, investment, energy, IT and culture.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on regional and international situations, and Jaishankar expressed concern about the situation in West Asia. He emphasised the longstanding ties between India and Kuwait highlighting India's vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047 and Kuwait's vision of New Kuwait by 2035.
The Indian community in Kuwait has been a living bridge between the two nations.
