ICIMOD Mountain Prize nomination deadline approaching

KATHMANDU, July 24 2020: ICIMOD Mountain Prize nomination deadline is soon approaching. It is August 15 2020.

Someone who has demonstrated outstanding efforts in sustainable and resilient mountain development, outreach, or conserving cultural identity in the HKH region can apply for the prize.

Nominations will be accepted for those individuals, organizations, or companies that have advanced the mountain cause in the HKH through innovations in their various capacities and positive tangible change on the ground. The winner and honourable mentions will be announced on December 11 2020 – International Mountain Day.

Prize amount is USD 2,500
