REGIONAL, August 31, 2025: School Excellence – Leadership for the Digital Age marked its second edition on 30 August at Guwahati hosted by ADIG in collaboration with Teachmint. The full-day workshop brought together 63 principals and decision-makers representing over 40 plus schools across the Northeast underscoring the region’s commitment to digital transformation in education.
The event moved beyond lectures to hands-on activities and reflection, helping leaders tackle the challenges of 21st-century schooling. Sessions guided participants to unlearn and relearn, reflect on their leadership styles, and work through case studies on digital adoption, teacher attrition, parental expectations, and school reputation management.
Interactive exercises included a visioning workshop where principals charted their school’s future across dimensions such as digital readiness, inclusivity, mental health, and sustainability. Participants also engaged in problem-solving simulations, reframing everyday school challenges into actionable strategies for excellence.
“Today was about moving from policy to practice. Our educators left not just with inspiration, but with clear roadmaps and tools to balance NEP 2020 mandates with the real needs of Gen Z and Gen Alpha students,” said Sandeep Das, Director of ADIG. “Too often, education leaders operate in silos, limiting opportunities for collaboration and shared growth. Events like this provide a platform for leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and gain insights into emerging trends while identifying opportunities for future growth.”
The workshop emphasised that the collective decisions of these school leaders directly impact tens of thousands of students across the region. By focusing on collaboration, self-reflection, and digital strategies, the gathering equipped schools to step confidently into the future of education.
