HM welcomes Hurriyat affiliate’s commitment to unity of Bharat

Till now 12 Hurriyat-linked organisations broke off from secessionism

NATIONAL, April 11, 2025: Union Home Minister Amit Shah Friday welcomed Hurriyat-affiliated organisation Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement’s decision to reject separatism and declare a complete commitment to the unity of Bharat.

In a post on X, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that under the Modi govt, the spirit of unity rules Jammu and Kashmir. He said that another Hurriyat-affiliated organisation, Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement, has rejected separatism, declaring complete commitment to the unity of Bharat.

He added that he sincerely welcomes their move.

The Union Home Minister said that till now as many as 12 Hurriyat-linked organisations have broken off from secessionism, resting trust in the Constitution of India. He said that this was a victory for PM Narendra Modi’s vision for Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
