Himanta Biswa Sarma to arrive in Tripura Friday

AGARTALA, April 08 2021: One of tallest BJP leaders in northeast India, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, will be arriving here tomorrow on a brief visit to Tripura. After reaching, he will embark journey to Udaipur in Gomati district by a chopper.
Sources said the sole purpose of his visit was to offer prayer at the Tripureswari Temple in Udaipur – which is ascribed as one of 51st sacred Hindu shrines in Indian subcontinent.
Dr Sarma, also Chairman of the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA), had crafted strategies for BJP’s big win in assembly elections in Tripura in February 2018.
West Tripura Lok Sabha Member Pratima Bhowmik would accompany Sarma to Udaipur.
