Announced development of around 123 school infrastructures

AGARTALA, April 22, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha Tuesday announced the main aim of the current government to provide quality and proper education. He announced the development of around 123 school infrastructures and the filling up of teaching and non-teaching staff in the education department.
The Chief Minister was speaking at a function marked for the inauguration of new buildings and infrastructure of different schools informed about the setting up of vending machines for sanitary napkins for girl students in 455 schools, spending over Rs 1.31 crore. "The government has provided self-defense training to 1.42 lakh girl students of 2,058 schools under the Rani Laxmibai Self-Defense Training Programme", he stated.
Dr Saha stressed the importance of flora and fauna, urging people to protect nature and maintain ecological balance. The Ministry of Education Department launched a QR code for flora to help people and students learn about trees.
"The state government is working towards the overall development of education, stating that without it, no country or state can progress. Main aim of the state government is to implement various schemes and provide quality and proper education", the Chief Minister went on to say.
