Ex municipal councillor Kalyani Dey no more

AGARTALA, February 23, 2020: Kalyani Dey, former Councillor of city’s civic body and spouse of prominent media personality Subal Kumar Dey, passed away Sunday after a prolonged illness. She was under ventilation at the Tripura Medical College & Hospital for last one month. 
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and scores of political, social and media personalities visited house of deceased to pay their last respect.
She won election to the post of Councillor of Agartala Municipal Council (now elevated to corporation) in 2010 as candidate of Congress party.
Her last rites were performed in the night.
