ECI awards two Tripura officials for election excellence

AGARTALA, January 18, 2024: Tripura has made history by beating larger states and receiving two awards for their exceptional performance in the election exercises. The Election Commission of India has released a list of 13 awardees for various categories for the year 2023. 

Among total 13 recipients are Saju Vaheed A, District Magistrate and Collector of South Tripura district and Dr Ramesh Chand Yadav, Superintendent of Police of Dhalai district. 

Vaheed received the award for Accessible Elections, while Yadav was recognised for his security management.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha took to social media to congratulate them on their well-deserved achievements.
