Chief Minister chairs high-level meeting on the traffic congestion
Urged officials for immediate steps to check traffic obstacles before puja

AGARTALA, September 06, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Saturday chaired a high-level meeting on the traffic congestion and regulation in Agartala city. The Chief Minister advised the officials to initiate immediate steps to make the city free from traffic obstacles before the commencement of Durga puja.
Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha, DGP Anurag, Secretaries Abhishek Singh and Kiran Gitte, West District Magistrate Dr Vishal Kumar, Traffic SP Kanta Jangir, West District Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak and others were present at the meeting.
The Chief Minister later in a social media post said he chaired a review meeting to discuss the present traffic management in Agartala. The concerned officials have been directed to take proactive measures to address the issues before Durga Puja, he added.
