Alignment of government with Prime Minister Modi's principles and vision

AGARTALA, July 11, 2024: Tripura's Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Wednesday accentuated the state and central governments' commitment to the welfare of all citizens particularly those from underprivileged sections. He said the state government has created over 13,000 new jobs between 2018 and 2024 including direct government roles and contracting and outsourcing opportunities.
The government is also working on generating additional employment opportunities beyond government roles, Dr Saha said and added that the alignment of the government with Prime Minister Modi's principles and vision.
Chief Minister spoke on the assurances after inauguration of the Harijan Quarters (Phase II) in IGM Hospital complex in Agartala. The government has also been actively pursuing initiatives, such as constructing a new building for underprivileged sections.
Dr Saha noted significant economic progress through startups, entrepreneurship and rural financial systems improvement through self-help groups. The fiscal year 2023-24 saw 215 projects implemented benefiting 2,480 persons who achieved financial independence.
