City businessman goes missing, kidnapping suspected

He remains untraced as police launched investigation

AGARTALA, September 29, 2024: A businessman who was allegedly kidnapped from near his home Saturday midnight remains untraced. The mystery surrounding Gautam Saha's disappearance deepens as he left his mobile phone at home. 

 

Police said Saha would take a walk every evening after dinner. On the night of his disappearance, he left his home in the Melarmath locality. The family reported him missing in the early hours of the morning after waiting for his return. 

 

Gautam Saha is a trader of sound systems. 

 

Despite the family's report and police investigation, no clues have been found so far. CCTV footage from the area also did not provide any leads.

 

Senior police officers are overseeing the investigation. This incident has caused a sensation ahead of Durga Puja, the state's biggest festival.
