AGARTALA, February 16, 2024: The Bangladeshi government has denied any involvement in the legal proceedings against Mohammad Yunus, the founder of the Gramin brand and a Nobel laureate.
Law Minister Anisul Huq Friday addressed questions from the media regarding allegations that the government allowed the National Board of Revenue and the Anti-Corruption Commission to prosecute Yunus.
The United Nations, United States and European countries have expressed concerns over the court cases against the pioneer of the microcredit economy.
