AGARTALA, January 12 2022: AIDS and drug abuse are evils that hinder the development of any state. Thus prevention of AIDS and eradicating drug abuse has been focus of the incumbent state government.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb asserted this while expressing his views on occasion of the birth anniversary of the social reformer, great thinker and philosopher, Swami Vivekananda.
National Youth Day is also observed in commemoration and to respect his ideals and thoughts. Chief Minister attended an official programme to mark the day.
“Our commitment is to make Tripura a drug free state and it is only possible with the collaborative efforts of all the people of the state. I am urging everyone to be vigilant about the drug abuse and keep an eye on their surroundings” he asserted.
Biplab Kumar Deb added, today, the youth of Tripura is more focused on innovation; they are exploring new avenues of commerce and opening up new businesses. Tripura government's policies are motivating our youth to become job providers rather than job seekers.
