3-day Brahmakunda Fair to mark Rash Purnima festival

Tripura Minister held meeting, urged committees to work responsibly

AGARTALA, October 28, 2025: Tripura Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath Tuesday confirmed the schedule of a 3-day Brahmakunda Fair from November 5 to 7 to commemorate the upcoming Rash Purnima. The event near Agartala is held twice a year, one on Rash Purnima and the other during Ashoka Ashtami. 

The minister, who attended a preparatory meeting, informed that various state government departments will open exhibition stalls and themed pavilions while cultural programs will be organised every evening by the Information and Cultural Affairs Department. 

The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Industries and Commerce Brishaketu Debbarma, Tripura Tea Development Corporation Chairman Sameer Ranjan Ghosh, Mohanpur Panchayat Samiti Chairman Rakesh Deb, Hejamara BAC Chairman Sunil Debbarma, Mohanpur Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sajal Debnath, Additional Sub-Divisional Magistrate Dhriti Shekhar Roy and social worker Binod Debbarma.

The Minister urged subcommittees to work responsibly and sought cooperation from all concerned to ensure the success of the festival.
