NATIONAL, October 26, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday spoke on the importance of the 21st century for the country and ASEAN stating that they represent almost a quarter of the world's population. He highlighted the deep historical ties and shared values between the two nations.

Despite uncertainties, the India-ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has seen sustained progress, emerging as a robust foundation for global stability and development, he asserted.

Modi also highlighted India's strong ties with ASEAN friends in disasters and the rapid growth of cooperation in HADR, maritime security, and the blue economy.
