126 vacant positions for the CHOs to be filled soon

AGARTALA, March 25, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, also the state's Health Minister, announced that 126 vacant positions for Community Health Officers (CHOs) will be filled soon.
Dr Saha made this announcement in the Tripura Legislative Assembly Tuesday.
The Chief Minister stated that these 126 vacant CHO posts will be filled on a contractual basis as per the norms laid down by the State Health & Family Welfare Society under the National Health Mission.
“Regarding the regularisation of existing CHOs, no policy or directive has been received from the Central government in this regard. However, all contractual CHO vacancies will be filled at the earliest as per the prescribed norms,” he asserted.
