Protests: Breach at the Bangladesh AHC in Agartala
Tripura Chief Minister, MEA denounced the incident

AGARTALA, December 02, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha condemned the security breach at the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala Monday. He took to his social media platform to respond to the unwanted incident at the diplomatic office.
He said such behaviour of some unruly youths was not acceptable while acknowledging the rights of a peaceful protest.
Earlier in the day, India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) deplored the incident over alleged chaos at the office of the Assistant High Commissioner. The MEA termed the breach “deeply regrettable” and announced to step up security measures in all diplomatic missions of Bangladesh in India.
