KOTTAYAM, February 09 2023: The National Institute for Rubber Training (NIRT), under the Rubber Board is conducting Post Graduate Diploma Course in Rubber Plantation Management of one year duration at NIRT, Kottayam. Graduates and Post graduates in any science discipline, desirous of pursuing a challenging career or entrepreneurship in rubber plantation sector are eligible to apply.
The Course will commence from March 2023. Candidates with BSc and MSc in Botany, Agriculture, Horticulture or Forestry will be accommodated for internship with stipend for a period of two years on successful completion of the course. All expenses including travel, food, accommodation and course fee are fully refundable to SC/ST candidates on production of caste certificate.

The course is designed for two semesters to impart state of the art technical know-how and skill in rubber crop production, processing, marketing and various aspects of plantation management so as to adopt sustainable, innovative and cost effective practices to become globally competitive.
