NYK holds 5-day Inter-State Youth Exchange Programme
Cultural exchange through visits to historical sites and performances

REGIONAL, February 20, 2025: The 5-day Inter-State Youth Exchange Programme, organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra, concluded at Youth Hostel Shillong on Thursday. The programme attended by participants from Mizoram included physical activities such as yoga, intellectual engagement through language learning and expert sessions, and cultural exchange through visits to historical sites and performances.
Sibhi Chakravarthy, Director of Community and Rural Development for the Meghalaya government, praised NYK for organising this programme and emphasised the importance of unity in diversity and fostering deeper understanding between different communities across India. The event successfully brought together youth from diverse backgrounds, promoting mutual respect and cultural understanding.
