'Four Stars of Destiny': Delhi police file FIR
NATIONAL: The Delhi police have Monday filed a First Information Report (FIR) concerning unauthorised circulation of former army chief Manoj Mukund Naravane's unpublished book. The FIR was initiated after the police responded to reports on social media and news platforms, which claimed that a pre-print copy of 'Four Stars of Destiny' was being disseminated without the necessary clearance for publication.
Investigations revealed that a PDF typeset version of the book, prepared by Penguin Random House India Pvt Ltd, was available on various websites. The police also noted that the book was being marketed online with a cover suggesting it was available for sale.
Consequently, a case has been registered for a comprehensive investigation into the suspected breach and unauthorized distribution of the unpublished work, led by the Special Cell to determine the source and extent of the leak.
