Five students to receive Mayangnokcha award

KOHIMA, July 31 2021: The Mayangnokcha Award Trust (MAT) has conveyed their congratulations and best wishes for all the 2021 Mayangnokcha Awards for Academic Excellence recipients while praying for further progress in their academic pursuits.

Specific toppers from HSCL Examinations conducted by NBSE are given accolades for their academic excellence by the Mayangnokcha Award Trust for the last twenty-eight years. The MAT, established in 1993, a philanthropic organization, has been awarding the HSLC toppers conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education with a vision and mission to further the quality of education in the State and has been working for the uplift of the Naga youngsters especially in the academic sector. 

According to Secretary, MAT, Dr Furkumzuk, the Mayangnokcha Award Trust recognizes, honours and encourages the meritorious Naga students at the High School level. It also aims to create spirit of healthy competitiveness among the students in the field of education in order for them to bring out their best and worth, thereby improve the overall standard of education.

This has been a source of encouragement to the recipients of the awards as well as the students’ community in general.
