Assam Rifles organises the second ARESA Conclave
REGIONAL: Assam Rifles Thursday organised the second Assam Rifles Ex-Servicemen Association (ARESA) Conclave in Shillong marking a significant effort to strengthen relations with its veteran community. The event was attended by 35 Presidents and Secretaries from ARESA Centres nationwide, where discussions focused on enhancing coordination, accountability and functionality of these centres while taking valuable feedback into account.
The primary aim was to ensure the welfare and well-being of Assam Rifles Ex-Servicemen and their dependents.
Recognition was given to top-performing ARESA centres, with ARESA Centre Dehradun winning first place and receiving a rolling trophy alongside a cash prize. ARESA Centre Gorakhpur and ARESA Centre Silchar followed in the second and third positions respectively.
The conclave introduced the "Veteran Achiever Award" to celebrate notable contributions to the welfare of ex-servicemen. Sixteen veterans were honored with salvers and cash prizes for their remarkable service and commitment.
The conclave underscored the Assam Rifles’ unwavering dedication to the welfare, recognition, and sustained engagement of its veterans asserting its commitment to those who have served the nation honorably.
