
AGARTALA: The Joint Regional Official Language (Rajbhasha) Conference for the Eastern, Northeastern and Northern regions is being held Friday at the Indoor Exhibition Hall of the Hapania International Fair Ground in Agartala. The conference was formally inaugurated by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
On this occasion, the BSF Wives Welfare Association of 43 BN BSF has set up a stall and is organizing an exhibition-cum-selling counter, where various items are being sold at concessional canteen rates.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha participated in the event along with Lok Sabha MPs Biplab Kumar Deb and Kriti Singh Debbarma, Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, Professor Milan Rani Jamatia of Tripura University, the Principal of Nagri Lipi Parishad, Nagaland and Anshuli Arya, Secretary of the Department of Official Language under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The Sammelan has emerged as a major confluence of more than 3,000 participants from the Eastern, Northeastern and Northern regions, highlighting the Centre’s focus on strengthening the use of Hindi and regional languages in official work.

आज अगरतला (त्रिपुरा) में पूर्व, पूर्वोत्तर व उत्तरी क्षेत्रों के संयुक्त राजभाषा सम्मेलन को संबोधित किया। बीते एक दशक में राजभाषा सम्मेलन, हिन्दी सहित भारतीय भाषाओं को एक साथ आगे बढ़ाने के व्यापक मंच बने हैं।
साथ ही, बहुभाषी अनुवाद सॉफ्टवेयर ‘भारती संग्रह’ का शुभारंभ किया।
