The festival was formally inaugurated with the ribbon cutting ceremony by Festival Committee President Durga Khatiwoda and noted social worker Binoy Kalita, marking the opening of this year’s edition.

Organised by Abhigyanm, the three-day festival will continue from March 13 to 15 at Abhigyanm Natya Kshetra in Sankardev Nagar, Maligaon.

The sixth edition brings together an impressive lineup of theatre groups from Assam and West Bengal. Eminent directors including Himanshu Prasad Das, Manimala Das, Mukul Oedipus and Ronhang Choudhury from Assam, along with Avik Bhattacharya and Arpan Chakraborty from West Bengal, will present their latest productions during the festival.
