“Address basic issues faced by the people”, CM tells engineers

AGARTALA, June 30, 2024: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has urged engineers to address the basic issues faced by the people in Tripura. He emphasised that engineers are the face of the government and that they should be responsible for implementing essential services like roads, drinking water and electricity.
Dr Saha applauded the Engineers Association for undertaking social programmes like blood donation in addition to fulfilling their professional duties.
Chief Minister was speaking after inaugurating a voluntary blood donation camp and a felicitation ceremony for meritorious students organised by the Tripura State Engineers Association in Agartala Sunday.
In his inaugural speech Dr Saha urged engineers to work responsibly to ensure these services are well-implemented, stating that the current government aims for the overall development of all sections of people. He stressed the importance of completing development projects on time and emphasized the importance of voluntary blood donation.
“The state government has taken various innovative initiatives to provide purified drinking water to the people”, said Chief Minister and urged engineers to work responsibly to ensure these activities are well-implemented. Dr Saha also highlighted the government's prioritisation of providing better medical services to the people of the state, implementing activities such as the establishment of a super specialty hospital and a dental college. He requested the Centre to build a high-quality hospital like AIIMS in the state.
