TULI (MOKOKCHUNG), January 21, 2025: Indus Towers Limited, one of the world’s largest telecom infrastructure companies, has partnered with the Northeast Center for Equity Action on Integrated Development (NEAID) to inaugurate well-equipped and hygienic washroom facilities for girl students at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) in Tuli. This initiative, under their Sanitation, Health and Hygiene program, was inaugurated by Relise Sangtam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Tuli in the presence of Sentinenla, District Education Officer (DEO) of Mokokchung.
It is part of Indus Towers' flagship Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Pragati, and aligns with the Government of India’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The objective is to provide safe sanitation facilities, thereby improving health and hygiene and creating a conducive environment for education.
This initiative goes beyond providing basic facilities; it aims to foster increased self-confidence and self-esteem among students by ensuring a clean and safe environment. It also seeks to build a comprehensive hygiene ecosystem within the school premises, contributing to the overall well-being of the community.
