Union Home Minister interacts with the students

From rural and tribal communities at Gujarat Bhavan

NATIONAL, February 21, 2025: Union Home Minister Amit Shah held an educational interaction with tribal and rural students from Santokba Dholakiya Vidya Mandir in Gujarat at Gujarat Bhawan, Chanakyapuri in New Delhi Friday. This event was a part of the Home Minister's commitment to directly engage with youth and motivate them.

The program aimed to inspire students and address their academic and career concerns. During the interaction, the Home Minister stressed the importance of hard work, dedication and determination in students' lives.

He also highlighted the crucial role that students play in the progress of the country and encouraged them to pursue careers in fields such as medicine, engineering and civil service. The Modi government has taken significant steps to provide quality education to tribal students, including the establishment of Eklavya Model Residential Schools in every block with a majority of ST population. 

The government has also given students the option to take exams in their mother tongue, providing them with hope and opportunities. In the past decade, the Modi government has established two new tribal universities. 

During the interaction, the students shared their thoughts on education and career with the Home Minister, who motivated them to work hard and maintain integrity in pursuing their goals.
