HCLFoundation partners with TRIFED to help tribal artisans
To promote products on its My E-Haat platform, link with customers

NATIONAL, February 19, 2025: HCLFoundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of global technology company HCLTech in India, has announced a partnership with the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) to support indigenous crafts and tribal artisans in India. Through this partnership, HCLFoundation will provide training to approximately 4,500 artisans and promote their products on its My E-Haat platform, connecting them directly with customers.
Sandeep Pahalwan, General Manager (I/c), Marketing at TRIFED, said the organisation has over three decades of experience in marketing indigenous products and aims to further improve the livelihood opportunities for tribal artisans through this collaboration. Dr Nidhi Pundhir, Senior Vice President of Global CSR at HCLTech and Director of HCLFoundation, stated that this partnership is a testament to their commitment to fostering long-term, sustainable change in communities.
By empowering tribal artisans with the necessary skills, resources and market access, they are also contributing to the preservation of India's rich cultural heritage.
