Race for a cause that boosts environmental responsibility

REGIONAL, December 01, 2025: After successfully energising cities like Lucknow and Chandigarh, the SBI Green Marathon Season 6 has now reached Guwahati with the aim of promoting sustainability under the theme "Run for a Greener India." The event saw the participation of over 4,000 comprising fitness enthusiasts and members of the defense forces, who came together to race for a cause that boosts environmental responsibility.

The marathon was flagged off by esteemed dignitaries such as Prabhas Bose - Chief General Manager of Guwahati Circle, Safal Tripathi - General Manager of Network 1 in Guwahati Circle, Amaresh Kr Jha - General Manager of Network 2 in Guwahati Circle and B Maharana Managing Director of NEEPCO reaffirming SBI's commitment to inspiring communities across India.

The marathon also featured eco-friendly components including organic T-shirts, plantable BIBs and a hydrating black alkaline water initiative. As the marathon continues its journey, it aims to inspire India towards a greener future.
