AGARTALA, November 18, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha highlighted the issue of corruption during the UPA government while expressing confidence that the BJP will form the government in West Bengal in next assembly elections and will end what he termed "Jungle Raj."
He welcomed 135 voters from 42 families into the BJP at Takarjala in Sepahijala district Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasised that their decision was timely and would strengthen the party.
Dr Saha pointed out that the BJP is expanding its governance across states, boasting the highest membership in the country and praised Prime Minister Modi for his efforts toward national and regional development particularly for the Janajati people in northeast India through initiatives like the DoNER Ministry.
He underscored the positive changes in Bihar under NDA leadership, contrasting it with the previous regime's issues of corruption and lawlessness. He urged people misled by opposition to join the BJP asserting that the party is the sole advocate for Janajati welfare, especially in the context of violence and unrest during the CPIM rule in Tripura.
The meeting was attended by several prominent BJP leaders.
