Rubber Board observes vigilance awareness week

Under theme ‘Independent India @ 75: Self Reliance with Integrity’

KOTTAYAM, October 23 2021: The Rubber Board has conducted a marathon on October 22 2021 from Rubber Board Head Office, Kottayam to Rubber Research Institute of India as part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2021. 170 numbers of employees including their family members participated in the event. 

Run events will be conducted by the Rubber Board in Guwahati and Agartala.

As directed by the Central Vigilance Commission, Vigilance Awareness Week will be observed by the Board in all its offices from October 26 2021 to November 1 2021. The theme of observing vigilance awareness week 2021 is ‘Independent India @ 75: Self Reliance with Integrity’.

Vigilance Awareness Week is observed to sensitize the public against the menace of corruption.

All officers and staff of the Rubber Board will take integrity pledge at 11 am October 26 2021. A poster competition with the participation of children of the Rubber Board employees working in Kottayam and suburbs will be conducted on October 28.  

The first three winners will be given cash prizes and certificates of merit. Board also proposes to bring out a journal containing articles of vigilance related matters as part of the observance of vigilance awareness week.
