State level workshop on critical key performance indicators held

REGIONAL, May 07, 2024: A two-day workshop on Reproductive Maternal Neonate Child Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCAH+N) got underway at Kohima Tuesday. Dr Khelito Zhimomi, State Programme Officer, emphasised the importance of addressing district-level problems and finding the best solutions to take the program forward.
Dr Akuo Sorhie, Mission Director of the National Health Mission, emphasised the need to improve critical key performance indicators like registration of 1st ANC, 4ANC, Institutional Delivery and Full Immunization.
Another workshop on Anemia Mukt Bharat, SUMAN, Laqshya, MusQan, key activities under Child Health, High Risk Pregnancy tracking, ePMSMA, RBSK, and Adolescents Health was also scheduled. The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has created RMNCAH+N to ensure optimal health care for mothers and children and emphasised the need for equal importance of all activities.
Dr Akuo Sorhie hoped that the two-day workshop would provide an understanding of the status of key performance indicators under the National Health Mission and enable critical action to be taken to bridge gaps and challenges.
