Preparation for 38th Nagaland Police Games and Duty Meet 2019

KOHIMA, May 24, 2019: Prelude to 38th Nagaland Police Games and Duty Meet 2019, a meeting of Sr senior officers and unit commanders was convened by TJ Longkumer, DGP Nagaland. Officers and all present were encouraged to live upto the reputation of being excellent hosts and outstanding event managers. 
DGP further urged all present to think out of the box and explore leadership qualities and capabilities reflecting welfare activities by meticulously reinventing and planning to suit the times, and to move forward despite the numerous constraints, hurdles, challenges and limitations. He remarked that quality is in the detail and the Police Meet should be a platform to hone skillls and techniques, and also be a stage to set excellent benchmarks.
The afternoon session was convened by spouse of the DGP and President of the Nagaland Police Family Welfare Mesangla Longkumer , where issues pertaining to involvement and participation in the Nagaland Police Meet 2019 and other Family Welfare activities was deliberated in detail.
Both the sessions stressed on making the Police Meet 2019 a Plastic Free event in line with the efforts of the State Government.
