GUWAHATI, May 09, 2024: Narayan Seva Sansthan, a renowned NGO, is organising a 'Free Artificial Limb Camp for the Welfare of Differently-Abled' in Guwahati for the first time. The event will take place on May 12 at Aashi Apsara Hall in Paltan Bazaar.
The camp will feature prosthetic and orthotics doctors who will assess and measure the differently-abled patients before organizing a modular artificial limb distribution camp. Registrations for over 625 individuals have been completed, with an expected attendance of over 800 people.
The camp will provide free fittings for the limbs, and participants will be provided with complimentary meals, tea, and snacks. The camp has been working with the ethos of 'Serving Humanity is Serving the Divine' since 1985.
The organisation has facilitated over 41,200 artificial limb fittings and is committed to providing free limbs to differently-abled individuals in Assam.
