'Mukhyamantri Samipeshu': Accessibility to govt for public
CM listened concerns of people directly at 35th episode of the programme

AGARTALA, November 06, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said he introduced the 'Mukhyamantri Samipeshu' programme to improve accessibility to the government for the public. During the 35th session of this program, held at his official residence here Wednesday, Dr Saha engaged with citizens from various districts and listened to their concerns directly.
The main focus of the discussions was on seeking medical assistance. As the Health Minister, the Chief Minister promptly reviewed medical documents and instructed officials to address the needs of the public.
For example, Bijay Debbarma sought help for his daughter's femur complication, while Shyamal Karmakar asked for aid for his wife's eye treatment after a stroke. Another citizen, Lakshmi Rani Das, requested financial support for her son's dialysis due to kidney failure.
In response, the Chief Minister directed the Acting Medical Superintendent of GB Hospital, the state's main referral hospital, to offer the needed assistance promptly. He also ensured that Lakshmi Rani's family would receive cards under the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana.
Various officials including the Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty were present to facilitate the programme. The main goal of 'Mukhyamantri Samipeshu' is to address citizens' issues directly and provide swift solutions especially in medical emergencies.
