AGARTALA, December 10, 2025: The Madhurupa Memorial Cancer Welfare Society is pleased to announce the RAQT Blood Donation Drive, to be held on December 14 (Sunday) at Red Cross Bhawan in Agartala from 9 am onwards. This initiative aims to support patients in need, strengthen blood bank reserves, and promote a culture of voluntary and responsible blood donation across the state.
The RAQT Blood Donation Drive is part of the Society’s continued commitment to cancer care, patient welfare, and humanitarian service. With the growing need for a safe and adequate blood supply in medical emergencies, the event aspires to bring together volunteers, youth groups, community members and social organizations to contribute to this life-saving cause.
The Madhurupa Memorial Cancer Welfare Society urges citizens to come forward and participate. A single unit of blood can save multiple lives, and through collective effort, the community can make a meaningful difference.
Speaking about the initiative, President of MMCWS, Tanusree Das, emphasised the importance of building a strong and compassionate community support system: “RAQT is not just a blood donation drive; it is a mission to inspire humanity and ensure the timely availability of blood for those fighting critical illnesses. It aims to encourage voluntary blood donation and raise awareness about its significance for cancer patients and others in need."
The event welcomes all eligible donors to participate and help save lives through this meaningful effort.
