India – Bangladesh tourism festival in Agartala

AGARTALA, February 15, 2020: Agartala would be the venue of two day tourism festival to commemorate Bangladesh’s freedom struggle. The festival would get underway on February 20 and would culminate on February 21.
Officials said Tripura Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) has been entrusted the task to hold the festival in a befitting manner in premises of Ujjayanta Palace which houses the state museum. Not only delegates from tourism, hotel and travel sectors, but the festival would see participation of poets, intellectuals, cultural activists and writers of both the countries, they added.
A couple of ministers from Bangladesh are also expected to attend, sources said.
