Flight operation normal in Tripura sector

AGARTALA, June 01 2020: Flight operation in Tripura sector has almost become normal with easing of restrictions imposed under the national lockdown to fight against menace of coronavirus.
Five passenger flights landed at the MBB Airport in Agartala Monday. Four of them came from Kolkata and one from Guwahati.
The flights of different carriers returned to their respective destinations with passengers.
There was a rush of passengers from both ends as air travel got underway after almost two and half months halt owing to Covid-19 pandemic.
The last flight was of Air Asia which took off from the MBB Airport at 7.30 pm.
Officers and staffs of the Airport Authority of India (AAI), flight providers and the CISF ensured and enforced health protocol while dealing with passengers and cargo at the airport.
