Expansion of golf in Tripura will have a positive impact: CM

He asserted that improving all sports activities is a key priority for the state

AGARTALA, December 07, 2025: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha expressed optimism about the expansion of golf in Tripura stating that it will have a positive impact on tourism and business in the state. He made the remarks at the Tripura Open Golf Tournament, which was part of the Bharat Golf Mahotsav GFI Tour 2025.

The event was organised by the Tripura Golf Association and TUSKER BSF Golf Club at Salbagan Sunday. Dr Saha also expressed his satisfaction with hosting a national-level golf tournament despite some golfers facing flight issues.

He highlighted the rapid development of the golf venue and the necessary facilities, calling it a significant milestone for Tripura. The Chief Minister stated that this initiative will attract more tourists, create job opportunities and promote business growth with plans for a five-star hotel.

He also asserted that improving all sports activities is a key priority for the state.
