Efforts underway for making international cricket stadium

The CM has set a six-month target for completing the work

AGARTALA, October 26, 2024: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has announced initiatives to expedite the construction of the international cricket stadium at the TIT ground in Narsingarh on the outskirts of Agartala. Discussions with Tripura Cricket Association officials have been held to complete the construction work within the next six months.

Chief Minister Saturday witnessed Ranji Trophy match between Tripura and Mumbai currently being held at the MBB Stadium in Agartala. He said three-member committee has been formed to resolve an issue concerning the stadium's construction and as work needs to start quickly.

A target of completing the construction within the next six months is set, with the possibility of many significant matches being held in the future. Chief Minister assured assistance for smooth completion of the work.
