International Paragliding Accuracy Championship ends

The championship saw 30 participants from six countries compete

REGIONAL, December 14, 2024: The International Paragliding Accuracy Championship and Air Sports Festival 2024 concluded at Serchhip Zawlpui Saturday with Chief Minister Lalduhoma as Chief Guest and Tourism Minister Lalrinpuii as Guest of Honour.

Lalduhoma praised the athletes' determination and highlighted Mizoram's potential as an adventure tourism destination. He praised Serchhip town's natural beauty as a top location for paragliding and adventure sports. Tourism Minister Lalrinpuii thanked the Organising Committee, Tourism Department, MASA and Serchhip citizens for their contributions.

The championship saw 30 participants from six countries compete. The closing ceremony was attended by distinguished guests and representatives from the Aeronautical Federation International, Aero Club of India and Mizoram Aero Sports Association.
