NATIONAL, December 19, 2025: In a very significant development, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has decided to deploy Central government officers as electoral roll micro observers in West Bengal.
The move came in the wake of alleged mismanagement in the conduct of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and non-cooperation from the state government.
