Covid-19 situation in Bangladesh grim, highest jump

AGARTALA, May 11 2020: Covid-19 situation in Bangladesh continues to be grim with highest single day jump of infections Monday.

1034 new cases tested positive according to a health bulletin issued in capital Dhaka.

Tally of coronavirus cases surpassed 15000 and actual number now stands at 15691.

The country also witnessed new 11 deaths soaring to 239 according to calculations made till 8 am Monday.

A number doctors, prominent citizens and business leaders died of coronavirus in Bangladesh.

Besides, around 800 policemen have been infected and seven of them died.
