Coronavirus grips Bangladesh parliament, 43 tested +

AGARTALA, June 09 2020: Coronavirus has gripped Bangladesh parliament ahead of its budget session. Its 43 secretariat staffers have tested positive to Covid-19.
The findings reportedly created fear and panic among the lawmakers who are slated to meet on June 11 for a brief session for presentation of country’s budget for 2020-21 fiscal. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend.
Samples of total 450 staffers had been tested of which 43 detected positive. They were sent to home quarantine, but kept under observation of the health department, officials said Tuesday.
A minister and six Member of Parliament in Bangladesh so far tested Covid-19 and they are admitted in different hospitals.
With a population of 17 crore, Bangladesh has been fighting hard against the spread of coronavirus. The count in the country touched 68504.
