CMs of Tripura and Gujarat to flag off Sardar@150 Unity March
The event in Gujarat shall coincide with the Constitution Day

AGARTALA, November 25, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel will inaugurate the National Padyatra of the Sardar@150 Unity March tomorrow (Wednesday) at Shastri Maidan, Vallabh Vidyanagar coinciding with Constitution Day. The event, organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS) through MY Bharat, is a culmination of a nationwide movement inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The march will feature several dignitaries, including Union Ministers and representatives from various sectors alongside thousands of enthusiastic volunteers and youth. Prior to the launch, extensive pre-event activities across 780 districts have seen participation from over 14.3 lakh citizens in 1,422 padyatras, covering 613 districts and traversing more than 7,200 kilometres underlining themes of unity and national pride.
The National Padyatra will begin at 9 am with floral tributes at Sardar Patel’s ancestral home followed by a gathering at Shastri Maidan, where the significance of Sardar Patel’s leadership will be discussed. The official flag-off will take place at noon, initiating an 11-day journey towards the Statue of Unity in Kevadia covering approximately 180 kilometres.
