Bangladesh minister for religious affairs dies in Covid-19

AGARTALA, June 14 2020: A veteran politician and a minister in Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s cabinet Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah has died in Covid-19. He was 74.
Abdullah was minister of state for religious affairs.
He breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka around midnight. He died after a massive heart attack within hours of his admission.
He was found coronavirus positive in the sample test conducted post death.
Bangladesh President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have mourned demise of the minister.
He began his career in teaching, later switched to the legal profession and finally devoted whole time in politics.
