Amit Shah greets people on occasion of Ker Puja

AGARTALA, July 31 2021: Perhaps for the first time Home Minister of the country greeted people of Tripura on occasion of Ker Puja, a royal era ritual got underway in premises of Ujjyanta Palace here Saturday. The weeklong worship is performed to eradicate diseases and usher good health of residents of the state.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah sent out his greetings to mark the sacred traditional occasion in a message posted in his twitter handle. He tagged Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb which is attributed as an important indication in current political scenario of the state.
On Saturday morning, Chief Minister Deb tweeted greet people of the state on the occasion of Ker Puja. He prayed for a disease free state and well being of the people.
Home Minister Shah tweeted in Bangla which attributes much significance.
Earlier top government leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted people of the state a number of times mainly during significant festivals.
