The NESOJ to unveil the 5th Edition of Northeast Fiesta

REGIONAL, October 24, 2024: The North-East Students' Organisation Jalandhar (NESOJ) is set to host the 5th edition of the Northeast Fiesta 2024, a cultural extravaganza in Punjab. The event, which will take place from October 25 to 26 will showcase the diverse cultures and traditions of the eight North Eastern states of India: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
The event, conceptualised and produced by TOTELL, is an annual cultural extravaganza that promotes the rich cultural heritage of India's North-East and fosters cross-cultural exchange between the states. The festival has become one of the most anticipated cultural events in Punjab, attracting visitors from across the country. Attendees can enjoy traditional dances, folk music, ethnic fashion and the vibrant culture of the northeast India. Dr Himanshu Agarwal, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Jalandhar will grace the event.
Himan Debbarma, President of NESOJ Punjab, stated, "We invite everyone to join us at the North East Fiesta 2024 to celebrate the beauty, diversity and cultural richness of the North-Eastern region of India. Let's come together to bridge cultures and foster unity."
